Throttle Position Sensor: Service and Repair

THROTTLE POSITION (TP) SENSOR - 2.0L ZETEC

Removal and Installation




1. Disconnect the throttle position (TP) sensor electrical connector.




2. Remove the two screws and the TP sensor.

CAUTION: Be sure to hand start the TP sensor screws. These are self-threading screws. Failure to hand start them can cause damage to the throttle body.

3. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
