Removal & Installation

NOTE:

When the PCM is replaced, the new PCM must be programmed with the old module's configuration information. Refer to POWERTRAIN CONTROL MODULE (PCM) PROGRAMMING - NGS TESTER or POWERTRAIN CONTROL MODULE (PCM) PROGRAMMING - WDS .

Disconnect the battery ground cable.
Remove the powertrain control module (PCM) cover.
1. Loosen the bolt and disconnect the electrical connector.
2. Remove the nuts and the cover.

Remove the PCM.

To install, reverse the removal procedure.
