Child Safety Seat Tether Anchor

Deactivate the supplemental restraint system (SRS); see SUPPLEMENTAL RESTRAINT SYSTEM (SRS) DEACTIVATION AND REACTIVATION .
Remove the affected seat.
On vehicles equipped with a bucket seat or 40 percent bench, remove the bolts and the child safety seat tether anchor.

On vehicles equipped with a 60 percent bench, remove the 60 percent bench seat; see SEAT BACKREST FRONT -- 60 PERCENT BENCH REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .
Remove the bolts and the child safety seat tether anchor.

Install in reverse order of removal.
