DTC P0507 - DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURE

STEP	INSPECTION		ACTION
1	VERIFY FREEZE FRAME DATA HAS BEEN RECORDED Has FREEZE FRAME DATA been recorded?	Yes	Go to the next step.
1		No	Record FREEZE FRAME DATA on repair order, then go to the next step.
2	VERIFY RELATED REPAIR INFORMATION AVAILABILITY Check for related Service Bulletins and/or online repair information availability. Is any related repair information available?	Yes	Perform repair or diagnosis according to the available repair information. If the vehicle is not repaired, then go to the next step.
2		No	Go to the next step.
3	VERIFY RELATED PENDING OR STORED DTCS Turn key to OFF, then ON (Engine off). Verify pending code or stored DTCs using the WDS or equivalent. Is other DTC present?	Yes	Repair applicable DTCs. (See DTC TABLE .)
3		No	Go to the next step.
4	INSPECT IAC VALVE MALFUNCTION Perform IAC valve inspection. (See IDLE AIR CONTROL (IAC) VALVE INSPECTION ) Is IAC valve okay?	Yes	Go to the next step.
4		No	Replace IAC valve, then go to Step 9.
5	INSPECT ACCELERATOR CABLE FREE PLAY Turn the ignition switch off. Is accelerator cable free play okay? (See FREE PLAY INSPECTION .)	Yes	Go to the next step.
5		No	Adjust accelerator cable free play, then go to Step 9. (See FREE PLAY INSPECTION .)
6	INSPECT ACTUATOR CABLE FREE PLAY Is actuator cable adjustments okay?	Yes	Go to the next step.
6		No	Adjust actuator cable free play, then go to Step 9.
7	INSPECT VACUUM HOSE CONNECTION Are vacuum hoses connecting accurately? (See VACUUM HOSE ROUTING DIAGRAM .)	Yes	Go to the next step.
7		No	Reconnect vacuum hose accurately, then go to step 9.
8	VISUAL INSPECT THROTTLE VALVE Remove throttle body. Is throttle valve fully closed?	Yes	Go to the next step.
8		No	Clean or replace throttle body, then go to the next step.
9	VERIFY TROUBLESHOOTING OF DTC P0507 COMPLETED Make sure to reconnect all disconnected connectors. Start engine. Clear the DTC from the PCM memory using the WDS or equivalent. Depress brake pedal for 14.1 seconds or more. Is PENDING CODE for this DTC present?	Yes	Replace PCM, then go to the next step.
9		No	Go to the next step.
10	VERIFY AFTER REPAIR PROCEDURE Perform the "After Repair Procedure". (See AFTER REPAIR PROCEDURE .) Are any DTCs present?	Yes	Go to the applicable DTC inspection. (See DTC TABLE .)
10		No	Troubleshooting completed.
