DTC P0112 - DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURE

STEP	INSPECTION		ACTION
1	VERIFY FREEZE FRAME DATA HAS BEEN RECORDED Has FREEZE FRAME DATA been recorded?	Yes	Go to the next step.
1		No	Record FREEZE FRAME DATA on repair order, then go to the next step.
2	VERIFY RELATED REPAIR INFORMATION AVAILABILITY Check for related Service Bulletins and/or online repair information availability. Is any related repair information available?	Yes	Perform repair or diagnosis according to the available repair information. If the vehicle is not repaired, go to the next step.
2		No	Go to the next step.
3	VERIFY CURRENT INPUT SIGNAL STATUS-IS CONCERN INTERMITTENT OR CONSTANT Connect the SST (104 Pin Breakout Box) to the PCM connector. (See PCM INSPECTION USING THE SST (104 PIN BREAKOUT BOX) ) Turn key to ON (engine OFF). Measure voltage at breakout box terminal 15. Is voltage below 0.2 V ?	Yes	Go to the next step.
3		No	Intermittent concern exists. Go to INTERMITTENT CONCERNS TROUBLESHOOTING procedure. (See INTERMITTENT CONCERN TROUBLESHOOTING .)
4	INSPECT MAF SENSOR TERMINAL Turn the ignition switch off. Disconnect MAF/IAT sensor connector. Check for bent terminal of MAF/IAT sensor terminal A and F (part-side). Is there any malfunction?	Yes	Repair or replace the terminal, then go to Step 8.
4		No	Go to the next step.
5	CLASSIFY IAT SENSOR MALFUNCTION OR HARNESS MALFUNCTION Measure voltage at breakout box terminal 15. Is voltage below 0.2 V ?	Yes	Go to the next step.
5		No	Replace MAF/IAT sensor, then go to Step 8.
6	INSPECT IAT SIGNAL CIRCUIT FOR SHORT TO GROUND Turn the ignition switch off. Disconnect PCM connector. Check continuity between MAF/IAT sensor terminal F (harness-side) and body ground. Is there continuity?	Yes	Repair or replace harness for short to ground, then go to Step 8.
6		No	Go to the next step.
7	INSPECT IAT CIRCUITS FOR SHORT Check continuity between MAF/IAT sensor terminal A and F (harness-side). Is there continuity?	Yes	Repair or replace harness for short, then go to Step 8.
7		No	Go to the next step.
8	VERIFY TROUBLESHOOTING OF DTC P0112 COMPLETED Make sure to reconnect all disconnected connectors. Clear the DTC from the PCM memory using the WDS or equivalent. Start engine. Is same DTC present?	Yes	Replace PCM, then go to the next step.
8		No	Go to the next step.
9	VERIFY AFTER REPAIR PROCEDURE Perform the "After Repair Procedure". (See AFTER REPAIR PROCEDURE .) Are any DTCs present?	Yes	Go to the applicable DTC inspection. (See DTC TABLE .)
9		No	Troubleshooting completed.
