ENGINE RPM/VEHICLE SPEED LIMITER INSPECTION/ACTION CHART

STEP	INSPECTION		ACTION
1	CHECK VEHICLE OPERATION Check for: Water, ice, mud and snow causing wheel slippage. Excessive engine rpm in N (Neutral). Driven at high rate of speed. Was the vehicle operating in any of the above conditions?	Yes	Vehicle OK. Clear DTC and return vehicle to customer with information about P1270.
1		No	Clear DTCs and See DIAGNOSTIC INDEX to address any driveability concerns.
