| 1 | CHECK THE STOP LAMP OPERATION Apply and release the brake pedal while observing the stoplamps. Do the stop lamps operate correctly? |
Yes | GO to the next step. |
| No | See SYMPTOM TROUBLESHOOTING CHART -- STOP LAMPS to continue diagnosis of the stop lamps. | ||
| 2 | CHECK THE STOP LAMP BULBS Check the stop lamps for the presence of aftermarket LED lights. Are the correct stop lamp bulbs installed? |
Yes | GO to the next step. |
| No | INSTALL the correct stop lamp bulbs. TEST the system for normal operation. | ||
| 3 | CHECK CIRCUIT (LG) FOR AN OPEN While applying the brake pedal, measure the resistance between the cruise control actuator 0120-101 pin 4, circuit (LG), harness side and ground. Is the resistance less than 5 ohms? |
Yes | INSTALL a new cruise control actuator. See SPEED CONTROL ACTUATOR . REPEAT the self-test. |
| No | REPAIR the circuit. REPEAT the self-test. | ||
