Pcm Removal/Installation: Notes

When replacing the PCM, perform the following:
- PCM configuration (See PCM CONFIGURATION .)
Remove the battery cover.
Disconnect the negative battery cable. (See BATTERY REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [LF] .)
Remove the air cleaner case. (See INTAKE AIR SYSTEM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
Move the water hose from the PCM cover slightly out of the way.
Remove in the order indicated in Fig 1 .

Install in the reverse order of removal.
When replacing the PCM on the vehicles, perform the following:
- PCM parameter reset (See IMMOBILIZER SYSTEM COMPONENT REPLACEMENT/KEY ADDITION AND CLEARING [WITH ADVANCED KEYLESS SYSTEM] .)
