| 3 | INSPECT OCV CONNECTOR FOR POOR CONNECTION

Yes | Repair or replace the terminal, then go to Step 7. |

| 4 | INSPECT OCV

| No | Replace the OCV, then go to Step 7. (See OIL CONTROL VALVE (OCV) REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .) |

| 5 | INSPECT PCM CONNECTOR FOR POOR CONNECTION

Yes | Repair the terminal, then go to Step 7. |

| 6 | INSPECT OCV CONTROL CIRCUIT FOR SHORT TO POWER SUPPLY

Yes | Repair or replace the wiring harness for short to power supply, then go to the next step. |

| 7 | VERIFY TROUBLESHOOTING OF DTC P2089 COMPLETED

Yes | Replace the PCM, then go to the next step. (See PCM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .) |
