Keyless Entry Receiver: Service and Repair

KEYLESS RECEIVER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

1. Remove the battery cover.
2. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
3. Remove the glove compartment.
4. Disconnect the keyless receiver connector.




5. Remove the nut, then remove the keyless receiver.




6. Remove the screw.

NOTE: The screw which fixes the keyless receiver and bracket is for a body ground connection.

7. Push the stopper in with a small screwdriver and remove the bracket.
8. Install in the reverse order of removal.
