Throttle Position Sensor: Service and Repair

THROTTLE POSITION (TP) SENSOR REMOVAL / INSTALLATION - 2.3L











1. Disconnect the negative battery cable. See BATTERY DISCONNECT.
2. Remove the accelerator control splash shield.




3. Disconnect the throttle position (TP) sensor electrical connector.




4. Disconnect the throttle position (TP) sensor electrical connector.
5. Remove the bolts and the TP sensor.
6. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
