Exterior Rear View Mirror Switch Inspection

Remove the exterior rear view mirror switch. See EXTERIOR MIRROR CONTROL SWITCH .

Inspect for continuity between the exterior rear view mirror switch terminals using an ohmmeter.

	Down	4 and 7 6 and 8	Selector switch Left Adjuster switch Down	Closed
	Left	4 and 1 7 and 8	Selector switch Left Adjuster switch Left	Closed
	Right	4 and 7 1 and 8	Selector switch Left Adjuster switch Right	Closed
Right mirror	Up	4 and 5 7 and 8	Selector switch Right Adjuster switch Up	Closed
	Down	4 and 7 5 and 8	Selector switch Right Adjuster switch Down	Closed
	Left	4 and 2 5 and 8	Selector switch Right Adjuster switch Left	Closed
	Right	4 and 7 2 and 8	Selector switch Right Adjuster switch Right	Closed

If not as specified, replace the exterior rear view mirror switch.
