Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor Removal / Installation - 3.0L

1. Disconnect battery. See BATTERY DISCONNECT .
2. Partially drain the cooling system. See ENGINE COOLANT REPLACEMENT -- 3.0L .
3. Disconnect engine coolant temperature (ECT) sensor connector.
4. Remove the ECT sensor.

   Tightening torque: 

   20 Nm {2.0 kgf-m, 15 ft-lbf} 

5. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
