Central Processing Unit (CPU) controls functions for seat belt, lighting and security systems. CPU is located under left side of instrument panel, behind kick panel. See Fig 1 . CPU monitors and controls the following body system inputs and outputs:
- Seat Belt Warning
- Key Reminder Buzzer
- Lighting Systems
- Door Ajar Warning
- Security & Locks
- Rear Window Defroster
- Auto Light-Off System
