Removal and Installation

NOTE:
  • Do not remove the exterior mirror assembly when repairing an individual part. Individual components can be installed without removing the exterior mirror.
  1. Remove the front door trim panel. See FRONT DOOR TRIM PANEL
  2. Disconnect the exterior mirror electrical connector.
  3. Remove the 3 exterior mirror nuts.
    • To install, tighten to 12 N-m (0.9 kgf-m, 9 ft-lbf).
  4. Remove the exterior mirror assembly.
  5. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
