Alternator: Service and Repair

GENERATOR REMOVAL / INSTALLATION - 2.3L

LH Battery Cable Connections:

1 - 7:

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable. See (Battery Disconnect)
2. Remove the air cleaner outlet tube.
3. Remove the accessory drive belt.






4. Remove the bolts and position the generator aside.






5. Remove the generator.

• Remove the nut and disconnect the electrical connectors.

6. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
