Coolant Temperature Sensor/Switch (For Computer): Service and Repair

CYLINDER HEAD TEMPERATURE (CHT) SENSOR - 2.3L REMOVAL/INSTALLATION






1. Detach the cylinder head temperature (CHT) sensor cover and position aside.
2. Disconnect the CHT sensor electrical connector.
3. Remove and discard the CHT sensor.
- To install, tighten to 12 N.m {1.2 kgf.m, 9 ft.lbf}.

4. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
