Vehicle Speed Sensor: Service and Repair

VEHICLE SPEED SENSOR (VSS) REMOVAL/INSTALLATION





1. Raise and support the vehicle on a hoist.
2. Remove the VSS bolt.

Note
^ The electrical connector and the vehicle speed sensor (VSS) are accessed from the top of the transaxle.

3. Disconnect the electrical connector and remove the VSS.
4. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
