Sensor Output Value Inspection

1. Switch the ignition to ON.
2. Inspect the following items using the PID/DATA monitor function. See DIAGNOSTIC MONITORING TEST RESULTS [MZI-3.7] .
   • Verify that the sensor output value change smoothly while throttle valve is gradually depressed.
     • APP1
     • APP2
   • If verified, go to the next step.
     • If not as verified, replace the accelerator pedal. See ACCELERATOR PEDAL REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [MZI-3.7] .
   • Verify that the sensor output value is as indicated in the table below according to the condition of the accelerator pedal.
     • APP1
     • APP2
   • If not as verified, replace the accelerator pedal. See ACCELERATOR PEDAL REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [MZI-3.7] .
