GENERATOR REMOVAL / INSTALLATION - 2.3L

LH Battery Cable Connections










1. Disconnect the negative battery cable. See Procedures.

2. Remove the air cleaner outlet tube. See - Service and Repair.

3. Remove the accessory drive belt. See - Service and Repair.






1. Remove the bolts and position the generator aside.






1. Remove the generator.

- Remove the nut and disconnect the electrical connectors.

2. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
