Throttle Position Sensor: Testing and Inspection

THROTTLE POSITION (TP) SENSOR INSPECTION [MZI-3.7]

Sensor Output Value Inspection

1. Verify that no DTC related to APP sensor has been detected.

- If any DTCs related to APP sensor have been detected, perform the DTC inspection. DTC Table

2. Switch the ignition to ON.

3. Inspect the following items using the PID/DATA monitor function. Diagnostic Monitoring Test Results

- Verify that the sensor output value is as indicated in the table below according to the condition of the accelerator pedal.

- TP1
- TP2
Specification





- If it cannot be verified, replace the throttle body. Service and Repair
