Air Flow Meter/Sensor: Service and Repair

MASS AIR FLOW (MAF)/INTAKE AIR TEMPERATURE (IAT) SENSOR REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [13B-MSP]

1. Remove the battery cover. (See Removal and Replacement)

2. Disconnect the negative battery cable.

3. Remove the MAF/IAT sensor connector.

4. Remove in the order indicated in the table.










5. Install in the reverse order of removal.

MAF/IAT Sensor Installation Note

1. Before installation of the MAF/IAT sensor, replace the O-ring.






Screw Installation Note

1. After installation of the screws, verify that the MAF/IAT sensor is installed securely.
