Vehicle Speed Sensor: Service and Repair

VEHICLE SPEED SENSOR (VSS) REMOVAL/INSTALLATION









1. With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist. See Lifting.

NOTE:The electrical connector and the vehicle speed sensor (VSS) are accessed from the top of the transaxle.
2. Remove the VSS bolt.

3. Disconnect the electrical connector and remove the VSS.

4. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
