Spark Plug: Service and Repair

SPARK PLUGS REMOVAL/INSTALLATION - 2.5L

1. Remove the ignition coils. See - Service and Repair.

CAUTION:Only use hand tools when removing or installing the spark plugs, or damage can occur to the cylinder head or spark plug.
NOTE:Use compressed air to remove any foreign material in the spark plug well before removing the spark plugs.
2. Remove the spark plugs.

- Tighten to 12 Nm {1.2 kgf-m, 106 in-lbf}.

3. Inspect spark plugs. See Testing and Inspection.





4. To install, reverse the removal procedure.

- Adjust the spark plug gap as necessary.
