Knock Sensor: Testing and Inspection

KNOCK SENSOR (KS) INSPECTION [MZR 2.0, MZR 2.5]

Resistance Inspection

1. Remove the battery cover. Removal and Replacement

2. Disconnect the negative battery cable. Removal and Replacement

3. Disconnect the KS connector.

4. Measure the resistance between KS terminals A and B.






- If not as specified, replace the KS. Service and Repair

Specification
- Approx. 4.87 megohms [normal temperature]
