PCM CONFIGURATION [MZR 2.5]

NOTE:
- When performing the PCM configuration and PCM reprogramming simultaneously, perform the PCM configuration and then perform the PCM reprogramming after the session has been completed. If the PCM reprogramming is performed with the session not completed, it may result in improper operation of the PCM.

1. Connect the M-MDS (IDS) to DLC-2.

2. After the vehicle is identified, select the following items from the initial screen of the M-MDS (IDS).
a. Select "Module Programming".

3. Then, select items from the screen menu in the following order.
a. Select "Programmable Module Installation".

b. Select "PCM".

4. Perform the configuration according to the directions on the screen.

5. Retrieve DTCs by the M-MDS (IDS), then verify that there is no DTC present. On-Board Diagnostic Test
