Ignition Switch: Service and Repair

IGNITION SWITCH REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.

2. Remove the column cover. Service and Repair

3. Detach the tab A shown in the figure.






4. Remove the ignition switch connector.






a. Pull the lock lever in the direction of the arrow shown in the figure and release the lock.

b. Disconnect the ignition switch connector.

5. Remove the ignition switch.






a. Push the tab shown in the figure.

b. Remove the ignition switch.

6. Install in the reverse order of removal.
