Neutral Switch Removal/Installation
- Disconnect the negative battery cable.
- Remove the battery component. (ex: battery, battery tray) (See BATTERY REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [MZR 2.5] .)
- Remove the aerodynamic under cover. (See AERODYNAMIC UNDER COVER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Drain the manual transaxle oil. (See MANUAL TRANSAXLE OIL REPLACEMENT .)
- Remove the neutral switch and gasket.
Tightening torque
- 20-29 N.m {2.1-2.9 kgf.m, 15-21 ft.lbf}
- Install in the reverse order of removal.
- Add the specified amount and type of manual transaxle oil. (See MANUAL TRANSAXLE OIL REPLACEMENT .)
