Third-Row Seat Belt Removal/Installation
CAUTION:
- The ELR (emergency locking retractor) has a spring that will unwind if the retractor cover is removed. The spring cannot be rewound by hand. If this occurs, the ELR will not work properly. Therefore, do not disassemble the retractor.
- Switch the ignition to off.
- Disconnect the negative battery cable.
- Partially peel back the seaming welts.
- Remove the following parts:
- Sub trunk (See SUB-TRUNK REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Trunk end trim (See TRUNK END TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Third-row seat (See THIRD-ROW SEAT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Rear scuff plate (See REAR SCUFF PLATE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Remove the bolt A.
- Remove the trunk side trim. (See TRUNK SIDE TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Remove the rear header trim. (See REAR HEADER TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Detach the bezel from the C-pillar trim.
- Remove the C-pillar trim. (See C-PILLAR TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Remove the bolts B.
- Remove the third-row seat belt.
- Install in the reverse order of removal.
