Fuel Tank Pressure Sensor: Testing and Inspection

FUEL TANK PRESSURE SENSOR INSPECTION [MZI 3.7 V6]

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable. Removal and Replacement

2. Remove the evaporative hose component with the fuel tank pressure sensor connector still connected. Service and Repair

3. Reconnect the negative battery cable. Removal and Replacement

4. Switch the ignition to ON.

5. Plug one end of the evaporative hose component and verify that the output voltage from the fuel tank pressure sensor changes when pressure is applied from the other hose end.

- If it cannot be verified, replace the evaporative hose component. Service and Repair
