Engine Control Module: Service and Repair

PCM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [MZI 3.7 V6]

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable. Removal and Replacement

2. Remove the battery and battery tray. (See Removal and Replacement)

3. Remove all connectors and clips which may interfere with servicing.

4. Loosen the PCM bracket nuts.






5. Remove the PCM from the PCM bracket.






6. Remove the PCM bracket.






7. Install in the reverse order of removal.

8. When replacing the PCM on the vehicles, perform the following:

- PCM configuration Programming and Relearning
- Immobilizer system component replacement/key addition and clearing Keyless Entry System Advanced Keyless Entry And Push Button Start System
