Body Control Module (BCM) Removal/Installation

  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  2. Remove the front scuff plate (driver-side). See FRONT SCUFF PLATE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .
  3. Remove the front side trim (driver-side). See FRONT SIDE TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .
  4. Disconnect the connector at the position shown in the figure

  5. Remove tab A as shown in the figure, pull the fuse block in the direction of the arrow (1), and remove tab B.

  6. Remove the fuse block.
  7. Disconnect the connector at the position shown in the figure.

  8. Remove the nut, then detach the tab to remove the BCM from the body.

  9. Disconnect the connector at the position shown in the figure.
  10. Detach the clips and remove the vehicle wiring harness.
  11. Remove the BCM.

  12. Install in the reverse order of removal.
