DSC Off Switch Removal/Installation

  1. Remove the driver-side front scuff plate. (See FRONT SCUFF PLATE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
  2. Remove the driver-side front side trim. (See FRONT SIDE TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
  3. Remove the side wall. (See SIDE WALL REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
  4. Remove the center console box. (See CENTER CONSOLE BOX REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
  5. Remove the console panel. (See CONSOLE PANEL REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
  6. Remove the center console. (See CENTER CONSOLE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
  7. Remove the shift lever knob. (MTX) (See MANUAL TRANSAXLE SHIFT MECHANISM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [G66M-R] .)
  8. Remove the selector lever knob. (ATX) (See AUTOMATIC TRANSAXLE SHIFT MECHANISM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
  9. Remove the shift panel. (See SHIFT PANEL REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
  10. Remove the front console. (See FRONT CONSOLE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
  11. Remove the hood release lever. (See HOOD LATCH AND RELEASE LEVER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
  12. Remove the lower panel. (See LOWER PANEL REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
  13. While squeezing the tabs of the DSC OFF switch, pull the DSC OFF switch outward to remove it from the lower panel.

  14. Install in the reverse order of removal.
