ECT Sensor No. 2

  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION [SKYACTIV-G 2.0, SKYACTIV-G 2.5] .)
  2. Lift up the vehicle.
  3. Remove the front under cover No. 1. (See FRONT UNDER COVER NO. 1 REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
  4. Drain the engine coolant. (See ENGINE COOLANT REPLACEMENT .)
  5. Disconnect the ECT sensor No. 2 connector.
  6. Remove the ECT sensor No. 2 using the SST  .
  7. Install in the reverse order of removal.
  8. Refill the engine coolant. (See ENGINE COOLANT REPLACEMENT .)
