Ignition Switch Removal/Installation

  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  2. Remove the column cover. (See COLUMN COVER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
  3. Detach the tab A shown below.

  4. Remove the ignition switch connector.

    1. Pull the lock lever in the direction of the arrow shown and release the lock.
    2. Disconnect the ignition switch connector.
  5. Remove the ignition switch.

    1. Push the tab as shown.
    2. Remove the ignition switch.
  6. Install in the reverse order of removal.
