Knock Sensor (KS) Inspection

Remove the battery cover. (See BATTERY REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
Disconnect the negative battery cable. (See BATTERY REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
Disconnect the KS connector.
Measure the resistance between KS terminals A and B.
- If not as specified, replace the KS. (See KNOCK SENSOR (KS) REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)

- Approx. 4.87 megohms [normal temperature]
