Oil Pressure Switch Removal/Installation

WARNING:
  • Do not perform the servicing while the ATF is hot. Otherwise, it could cause severe burns or serious injury.
CAUTION:
  • Do not allow foreign material or water to penetrate the connector. Otherwise, it could cause poor contact and corrosion.
  1. Remove the battery cover. (See BATTERY REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
  2. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  3. Remove the aerodynamic under cover. (See AERODYNAMIC UNDER COVER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
  4. Disconnect the oil cooler from the transaxle. (See OIL COOLER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
    NOTE:
    • Do not disconnect the oil hose and water hose from the oil cooler and transaxle.
  5. Suspend the oil cooler using rope to secure the disconnected oil cooler.

    CAUTION:
    • To prevent damage to the parts, do not pull the oil hose and water hose excessively.
    • To prevent damage to the parts, do not twist the oil hose and water hose.
  6. Remove in the order shown below.
  7. Install in the reverse order of removal.
