Transaxle Range (Tr) Switch Removal/Installation: Notes

CAUTION:

• Do not allow foreign material or water to penetrate the connector. Otherwise, it could cause poor contact and corrosion.

1. Apply the parking brake firmly, and set the wheel blocks for both the front and rear wheels.
2. Shift the selector lever to the N position.
3. Remove the battery cover. (See BATTERY REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
4. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
5. Remove the air cleaner component. (See INTAKE-AIR SYSTEM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
6. Remove in the order shown.
7. Install in the reverse order of removal.
8. Inspect the TR switch. (See TRANSAXLE RANGE (TR) SWITCH INSPECTION .)
