On-Vehicle Inspection

Disconnect the input/turbine speed sensor connector.
1. Remove the battery cover. (See BATTERY REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
2. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
3. Remove the air cleaner component. (See INTAKE-AIR SYSTEM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
4. Disconnect the input/turbine speed sensor connector.

Measure resistance between input/turbine speed sensor terminals A and B.

- If there is any malfunction, replace the input/turbine speed sensor. (See INPUT/TURBINE SPEED SENSOR REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)

- 250-600 ohms
