Input/Turbine Speed Sensor Removal/Installation

CAUTION:
  • Do not allow foreign material or water to penetrate the connector. Otherwise, it could cause poor contact and corrosion.
  • If the removed input/turbine speed sensor installation bolt is reused, it may cause ATF leakage. Always use a new bolt.
  • A sealant coating is applied to the input/turbine speed sensor installation bolt to prevent ATF leakage from the installation bolt hole which passes through the component.
  • When installing the input/turbine speed sensor, verify that there is no foreign material on the sensor such as metal shavings. If there is foreign material on the sensor part for the input/turbine speed sensor such as metal shavings, the sensor output will malfunction due to magnetic flux and result in deterioration in the control.
