Selector Lever Inspection

  1. Switch the ignition ON.
  2. Inspect the selector lever as follows:
    • If there is any malfunction, replace the selector cable. (See AUTOMATIC TRANSAXLE SHIFT MECHANISM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
      1. Verify that the selector lever can be operated as shown in the figure.

      2. Verify that the selector lever can be operated smoothly.
