Indicator Removal/Installation

Disconnect the negative battery cable. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION .)
Remove the upper panel. (See UPPER PANEL REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
Remove the console side panel. (See CONSOLE SIDE PANEL REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
Remove the selector lever knob. (See SELECTOR LEVER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
Remove the shift panel. (See SHIFT PANEL REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
Turn over the removed shift panel and remove the boots from the securing parts shown in the figure.

Cut the band shown in the figure.

Remove in the order indicated in the table.
Install in the reverse order of removal.
