Fuse Block Removal/Installation: Removal

Disconnect the negative battery terminal. (Refer to NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION .)
Remove the following parts:
1. Front scuff plate (LH) (Refer to FRONT SCUFF PLATE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
2. Front side trim (LH) (Refer to FRONT SIDE TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
3. LF control unit (with advanced keyless entry system) (Refer to LF CONTROL UNIT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
  CAUTION:
  - If the fuse block is removed with the fuses installed, the area around the fuse block may contact the fuses and damage the them. Before removing the fuse block, remove all the fuses.
Remove all the fuses.
Remove the bolt.

While pressing the tab of the fuse block clip in the direction of the arrow (1) shown in the figure, pull the fuse block in the direction of the arrow (2) to detach the tab of the fuse block clip from the body.

Remove the fuse block clip from the body.
Cut the band.

Move part A of the fuse block cover in the direction of the arrow (1) shown in the figure, and detach the tabs of the fuse block cover.

Remove the fuse block cover.
Disconnect the connector.

Set the fuse block aside so that it does not scratch the vehicle and parts.
