Generator Installation Note

To facilitate the installation of the generator to the engine, grasp the spacer in the bolt installation hole using pliers and push it down to the nut side.

Temporarily install the generator to the engine with the generator lower bolt.
Align the generator fixing hole with the engine side hole, then temporarily tighten the generator upper bolt.
Tighten the generator bolts in the order shown in the figure.

Tightening torque
- 38-52 N.m {3.9-5.3 kgf.m, 29-38 ft.lbf}
Connect the connectors shown in the figure.

Install the coolant reserve tank. (Refer to COOLANT RESERVE TANK REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
Install the wiring harness bracket using the following procedure.
1. Set the wiring harness bracket to the installation position.
2. Install the wiring harness clips shown in the figure.

3. Tighten the bolts shown in the figure.

  Tightening torque
  - 8-11 N.m {82-112 kgf.cm, 71-97 in.lbf}
