Knock Sensor (KS) Removal/Installation: Notes

Disconnect the negative battery terminal. (Refer to NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION .)
Remove the plug hole plate. (Refer to PLUG HOLE PLATE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
Remove the intake manifold. (Refer to INTAKE-AIR SYSTEM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
Remove the bolts.

Remove the intake manifold stay.
Disconnect the KS connector.
Remove the bolt.

Remove the KS. (Refer to KS INSTALLATION NOTE .)
Install in the reverse order of removal.
