Non-Return Valve Inspection

NOTE:
  • Non-return valve is integrated in the fuel tank. Therefore, before inspecting the non-return valve perform the following:
  1. Remove the fuel pump unit. (See FUEL PUMP UNIT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
  2. Siphon the fuel from the fuel tank.
    NOTE:
    • The non-return valve is normally closed by the spring force.
  3. Verify that the non-return valve is closed.
  4. Verify that the non-return valve opens when pulled up by a finger.
