Intake Air Temperature (IAT) Sensor Inspection: Notes

NOTE:

• The MAF sensor and IAT sensor cannot be removed as a single unit. When replacing the MAF sensor or IAT sensor, replace it together with the MAF/IAT sensor as a single unit.

1. Remove the battery cover. (See BATTERY REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
2. Disconnect the negative battery cable. (See BATTERY REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
3. Disconnect the MAF/IAT sensor connector.
4. Measure the resistance between MAF/IAT sensor terminals D and E.

• If not as specified, replace the MAF/IAT sensor. (See INTAKE-AIR SYSTEM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
