Engine Oil Data Reset

NOTE:

If the engine oil was replaced with the engine oil maintenance monitor function ON, perform the engine oil data reset to reset the engine oil replacement period calculation data recorded in the PCM regardless of whether or not the wrench mark is illuminated.
The ON/OFF condition of the engine oil maintenance function can be verified using the M-MDS.
If the engine oil maintenance monitor function is on, it is necessary to perform the engine oil data reset.

Using the M-MDS, verify the engine oil maintenance monitor function ON/OFF condition. Is the engine oil maintenance monitor function on?
- Yes
  - Go to next step.
- No
  - The engine oil data reset is unnecessary.
Switch the ignition ON (engine off or on).
Select [Applications] on the center display.
Select [Vehicle Status Monitor] on the center display.
Select [Schedule Maintenance] on the center display.
Select [Oil Change] on the center display.
Select [Reset] on the center display.
