Steering Angle Adjustment

Loosen the tie-rod end locknuts.
Remove the steering gear boot clamp.
Rotate the tie rod and adjust the steering angle.
NOTE:
- The travel distance of the right and left tie rods should be the same.
Rotate the tie rod and adjust so that dimension L shown in the figure does not exceed the specification.

Specification

17.7-30.7 mm {0.70-1.20 in}
Tighten the tie-rod end locknuts.
Tightening torque

69-98 N.m {7.1-9.9 kgf.m, 51-72 ft.lbf}
Verify that the boot does not have any twisting and install the boot clamp.
After steering angle adjustment, always inspect and adjust the total toe-in. (See TOTAL TOE-IN ADJUSTMENT .)
