ECT Sensor No. 2 (U.S.A. and CANADA)

Disconnect the negative battery cable. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION .)
Drain the engine coolant. (See ENGINE COOLANT REPLACEMENT .)
Disconnect the ECT sensor No. 2 connector.
Remove the ECT sensor No. 2 using the SST.
NOTE:
- Because a small amount of the engine coolant remaining in the radiator will drain out, spread a cloth under the sensor when removing ECT sensor No. 2.

Install in the reverse order of removal.
Refill the engine coolant. (See ENGINE COOLANT REPLACEMENT .)
